Modest Swimsuit Cover Up

Modest Swimsuit Cover Up

I love this idea for a modest swimsuit cover up which are sometimes hard to find in a material that breathes! I’m no sewing expert but this project shared by Martha Stewart (of course) seems really easy to me and when I finish writing this post I’m going to pull out the scarves I don’t really wear and make this 🙂

Here’s what you’ll need:

Gather Your Materials-
* 2 cotton scarves (about 2 by 6 feet is a good size)
* Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies (I may also decide to try it with a glue gun)

Step 1: Stack 2 cotton scarves (about 2 by 6 feet is a good size), right sides facing. Use a basic running stitch to join the scarves lengthwise, leaving an opening of about 18 inches in the center for a neck hole.

Step 2: The finished cover-up will have a V-neck and a seam in the front and the back.
