Shabbos Table DIY Napkin Rings

A friend of mine gave me these for a birthday present and I think they would make great Shabbos table DIY Napkin Rings! They are not difficult to make and really look beautiful 🙂

Above is a picture from my own dining room.

I use them in so many different ways: with napkins, without napkins, inserted one into each cup, they really look great no matter how you want to display them!!

They have maximum impact when you use them all together, say if you’re bringing out a tray of 12 cups and each cup as a floral napkin ring in it.

Shabbos Table DIY Napkin Rings Instruction:

1. Purchase beads that you love in the color scheme of your Shabbos table. (To learn more about Shabbos table color schemes, click here)

2. Purchase Jewelry wire. I’m not sure how much to tell you because I don’t know how many napkin rings you’ll be making, but figure that each napkin ring is about the size of a bracelet.

3. Next, you’ll want to pick out beautiful silk flowers and also a floral stem cutter from an arts and crafts store. You’ll want to keep the head of the flower and the green part right underneath the flower, as shown in the two pictures below. You don’t need the long stem part of the flower, just the flower and the green part that supports the head of the flower (I’m not sure what that’s called sorry!)

4. String your beads on the jewelry wire. Next, take the ends of the wire and poke them up through your flower, into the hole of the green stem that was left over after you cut the rest of the stem off. Twist the ends of the wire together to tie it and place one last bead over the twisted ends.

That’s it! I’d love for you to post pics of the DIY napkin rings that you make!
