Vanilla Challah Recipe

Rebbetzin Tova Rappaport of Atlantic City claims that vanilla is the secret in her amazing challah which she bakes every week for many, many people! Take her word for it!

Ingredients for the Vanilla Challah Recipe

• 2 packs yeast
• 2 packs egg beaters (4 eggs equivalent)
• 10 cups flour
• 3/4 cups sugar (substitute splenda, stevia )
• 4 tsp salt
• 1 cup oil
• 2 cups water
• 2 tsp vanilla- add as much vanilla as you feel comfortable, it makes the challah so delish!
• add water and flour as needed

Directions for Vanilla Challah recipe

Mix ingredients and form into ball. Place dough in oiled bowl. Cover bowl and let rise. Punch down, let rise more. Take challah without a bracha. Form challahs, bake at 350 for an hour.
